Dear ESTO Community:

Today, we share the decision that ESTO 2020 is cancelled, a difficult but necessary response to the coronavirus pandemic. While we had greatly looked forward to being together in Grand Rapids, we are unable to proceed with ESTO in compliance with the guidance of Michigan public health authorities prohibiting large public gatherings.

All paid registrations for 2020 will be refunded in full and will be processed within 90 days. If you have any questions regarding the refund process, please contact esto@ustravel.org.

ESTO, the definitive learning and knowledge-sharing forum for destination marketers, is traditionally a can’t-miss event on the annual calendar. While the present circumstances prevent us from convening this year, we look forward to next year’s event in Los Angeles. Since we will not be holding the Destiny and Mercury awards this year, we will honor excellence and creative accomplishment in destination marketing for both 2019 and 2020 when we meet in 2021. Until then, our ESTO webinar platform will continue to bring you inspiration and education.

Lastly, we would like to offer special thanks to Pure Michigan Vice President David Lorenz, Experience Grand Rapids CEO and President Doug Small and their teams for the tremendous effort they dedicated to preparing for ESTO. We look forward to convening in Grand Rapids for ESTO in 202
