In this session, you will gain an understanding of the importance of stewardship to the indigenous community, how DMOs are managing the connection between local residents and tourism stakeholders, and how cities and urban areas around the U.S. are redefining what stewardship means in order to protect their unique qualities and cultural essence. Attendees will gain strategies for engaging with residents and visitors alike to ensure everyone plays their part to take care of your destination, learn about how the term “stewardship” continues to evolve and what it means today and understand how the act of stewardship changed during the pandemic for better
