LGBTQ Travel Research: Increasing Visitors by Understanding a Community
Community Marketing & Insights (CMI) has been conducting LGBTQ travel research for over 25 years. Through its annual LGBTQ Travel and Hospitality Survey (now in its 24th year) and custom research projects for over 30 destination management organizations, CMI brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the LGBTQ community and travel trends. This workshop will explore the latest data and help DMOs understand how to assure and position a destination as LGBTQ-welcoming and how to attract more LGBTQ visitors.
Attendees will review the history LGBTQ market research data to understand current trends, explore the many diverse segments within the LGBTQ community and learn practical action goals that can be implemented to outreach to the LGBTQ community successfully.
