Gisela Marti is the SVP of Marketing and Tourism for the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau. Gisela is a tourism and marketing professional connecting global visitors, meeting planners to Greater Miami through authentic storytelling. Develops the strategic direction for the global leisure marketing as well as convention marketing including creative, social media, content development, digital and advertising. She manages the GMCVB’s global representatives, internal teams and agency partners in the implementation multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive visitation to Greater Miami and Miami Beach.
Gisela joined the GMCVB in 2007 and throughout her tenure, has overseen the organization’s membership area, led the global sales strategy of the leisure sales team and served as Miami International Airport’s Tourism liaison as it relates to international air service development. Prior to joining the GMCVB, she spent 20 years at a major cruise company and held multiple sales leadership roles.
Born in Cuba, she came to Miami at a very early age where she spent most of her life and is professionally and civically active. Gisela indulges in her love of travel, exploring countries and embracing new cultures
