Heather Harley

Heather is the Operations Manager at South Carolina Parks, Recreation and Tourism (SCPRT), where she leads the coordination of training programs for the South Carolina Welcome Center Program and the nine welcome centers across the state. 

Her duties include overseeing the national certification program in conjunction with US Travel Association, managing the Front Porch Program to certify regional and local visitor centers, the annual training conference and familiarization tours for all program staff with each South Carolina Association of Tourism Region (SCATR) partner.

Heather graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Hospitality Management in 2015 and received her Tourism Marketing Professional (TMP) certification in 2020. She is also a 2023 graduate of the Certified Public Manager (CPM) program.
