Lauren Cleland

Previously named one of the Top Women in Travel by WITTI, Lauren Cleland has been a proud member of the tourism marketing world since 2012. After starting her career with the Georgia Tourism Division, Lauren has been working to shape the Visit Savannah and Visit Tybee marketing strategy since 2015.

She is an active member of the:

• U.S. Travel Association ESTO Planning Committee
• Destinations International Marketing Professionals Task Force
• Southeast Tourism Society Board of Directors and co-chair of the Education Committee

Past accolades for Lauren and her work include Platinum, Gold and Silver HSMAI Adrian Awards, an eTSY Innovation Award, being named one of Destination International’s 30 Under 30 and one of "Savannah’s New Guard" by Savannah Magazine, a Travel + Leisure Best Use of Pinterest SMITTY Award, an Industry Leader of the Year Award from Georgia's Historic Heartland Travel Association, a Tourism Partner Award from the Roswell Convention and Visitors Bureau Board and more.

Lauren is passionate about educating her destination marketing counterparts around the globe and empowering them to make strategic marketing decisions that align with their resources. She has spoken on a wide range of topics at conferences around the world -- including in India!
