Wazan

Wally Wazan is the Visitor Services Program Manager for the North Carolina Department of Commerce. Wally provides management and oversight of all aspects and operations of North Carolina’s nine Welcome Centers, the Inquiry Program and the Tourism Call Center located at the North Carolina Correctional Institution for Women. Wally has also attained hotel industry, Human Resources, Hospitality, and Marketing Management experience. Wally holds a degree in Hospitality Management and Services from Tarrant County College, a B.A in Liberal Studies from Belmont Abbey College, and a Certification in Special Events Marketing and Promotion from Central Piedmont Community College. Wally’s positive approach to addressing industry issues has enable him to yield unique yet positive achievements throughout his career.
