Wes Rhea

Wes Rhea has been leading destination marketing in Stockton, California since 2005 as the CEO of Visit Stockton. He is a fervent supporter of small destination marketing organizations, a self-proclaimed data enthusiast, and an avid early adopter of tourism technology. Wes has contributed his expertise to various boards, including the Destination Marketing Association of the West, the California Travel Association, and the Central Valley Tourism Association. Additionally, at Visit California, he recently completed a two-year term leading the Rural Committee. Currently, Wes is an esteemed member of the US Travel’s Destinations Council, serves on the ESTO planning committee, as well as committees with Destinations International.

As a Stockton native, Wes remains dedicated to giving back to his community. He holds positions on the board of the Stockton Maritime Museum and the county's Airport Advisory Commission.

Wes is married to Kristi, and they have two sons. Wes served in the US Army for 10 years, exemplifying his deep commitment to service.
