John David is the President & CEO of the Sports Events & Tourism Association (Sports ETA), the leading trade organization for the sports events and tourism industry. With over two decades of experience, he previously served as Chief Strategy Officer at USA BMX, where he helped double membership, triple revenue, and lead major initiatives, including the Olympic Trials and the development of the USA BMX headquarters and Hall of Fame.

John has served on the Sports ETA Board of Directors for over a decade and was named one of the most Influential Event Professionals for 2024 by Northstar Media Group. A respected leader in sports tourism, he continues to drive industry growth and innovation.
