Zander Ault

Zander is passionate about maintaining the integrity of wild, open spaces through the production of outdoor recreational events and inspired hospitality. He lives in Patagonia, Arizona with his wife, Heidi, 2 year old daughter, Burchie and their golden retriever, Big Sky. Patagonia's access to the San Rafael Valley (90,000 acres of open space) just 12 miles from his home, drew he and his family to Arizona's Sky Island region 10 years ago to outfit and guide across the Coronado National Forest - hosting 5 day private cycling vacations for their business, The Cyclist's Menu. As guiding in the area grew, so did the need for a few more businesses in downtown Patagonia, and so this incredible couple launched the Spirit World 100 - a gravel road cycling event in 2019, The Gravel House - a multi property vacation rental and 9 bedroom hotel, the Patagonia Lumber Company - a craft beer and wine bar/music venue in 2021, Patagonia Bikes - Patagonia's local bike shop in 2022, and lastly The Daydreamer - an endurance trail running event in 2025. An avid outdoorsman, creative community developer, and strategic marketing specialist - Zander Ault loves where he lives, and has dedicated his career to maintaining Patagonia's unique character while working to provide seasonal boosts of financial security through grassroots efforts.
