Nan speaking at Grand Rapids

Last year Grand Rapids rolled out the red carpet for ESTO and over 1,000 destination marketers. This year we are headed to the hostess city of the south - Savannah, Georgia for four inspiring days of peer-to-peer learning and thought-provoking mainstage speakers.

We take pride in evolving our conference annually based on your feedback, from panelist diversity to the Destiny and Mercury Awards categories. You write, and we listen. Our content is developed by your Industry peers, so we have something for you whether this is your fifth or first ESTO.

We pride ourselves on our forward thinking alongside provocative discussions to help shape your views on this ever-evolving industry. Aside from the marketing content ESTO is known for, our topics this year range from destination stewardship to tech trends and innovation. ESTO provides more than stellar content but various opportunities to network and connect with attendees. In this non-sales environment, you can focus on relationship-building and having fun without hidden agendas.

We’re excited to introduce a few new enhancements to ESTO.

New Interactive Concurrent Session

At ESTO, we’re all in on peer-to-peer learning. New this year is an interactive session, The Fishbowl, with selected topics to discuss.

  • Marketing to Locals vs. Visitors: a Recipe for Success
  • Promoting the Truth About Your Destination with Balanced Content
  • Generational vs. Life Stage Marketing: Is It Just About Age?

Destiny and Mercury Award Categories

To minimize overlap, we’ve highlighted 23 categories total between the Destiny and Mercury Awards. Our awards presentation will offer deeper insight into the winning campaigns and provide commentary from the judges.

Destination Day

Monday is dedicated to showing off your team spirit. We want to see you and your team flaunt the essence of your destination. New this year – a ‘lil something to the boldest team will be given thanks to Tinybeans.

We cannot wait to celebrate the continued success of our resilient industry with you.

See you in just a few months!
