Joseph (Joey) Wattoo is Chief Marketing Officer at MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM). In this role, Mr. Wattoo provides oversight of Customer Experience, Marketing, Loyalty and Analytics. His teams are responsible for developing and marketing more than 20 North American brands and more than 400 outlets. Additionally, the team is responsible for the MGM Rewards loyalty program, as well as marketing to and analyzing millions of current and prospective customer interactions. Previously, Mr. Wattoo served as the Senior Vice President of Loyalty Marketing and Analytics and Vice President of Commercial Strategy and Operations, as well as in multiple Chief of Staff positions reporting directly to members of MGM Resorts’ executive team. Prior to joining MGM Resorts, Mr. Wattoo served as Global Head of Revenue and Finance Business Process Leader at Uber Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: UBER) where he oversaw technical revenue accounting, accounting operations and product and process transformation of the finance and accounting organizations globally. Over his tenure, Uber expanded from a single line of business to a conglomerate of many, and from less than 100 to more than 450 cities in 65 countries. Mr. Wattoo began his career at Deloitte in 2009 where he specialized in complex revenue and equity transactions for pre-IPO/IPO growth companies in the Technology sector. While there, he became an expert in and leader of initial public offerings of Yelp, Inc (NYSE: YELP) and Linkedin (acquired by NASDAQ: MSFT). Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Mr. Wattoo received a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University, where he graduated cum laude. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive), instrument-rated pilot and an avid cyclist and skier. Mr. Wattoo resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, with his wife and children.
