Nicole Stacey is a Northwest Florida native with over 20 years of experience in tourism and hospitality and more than 15 years in marketing and communications. As Vice President of Destination Development at Visit Pensacola, she oversees marketing and sales strategies, communications, and destination development efforts focused on sustainable growth and aligning community-wide tourism investments.

She has spearheaded major initiatives, including Visit Pensacola’s rebrand to “The Way to Beach,” the expanded Tourism Works for Pensacola campaign, and high-profile PR activations at events like the CMAs, Chicago Air & Water Show, and media engagements in New York, Canada, and London. Stacey has also played key roles in multi-agency brand collaborations across Northwest Florida and contributed to securing in-market national TV production opportunities.

Beyond Visit Pensacola, she serves on several industry and statewide boards, regionally a part of the Northwest Florida Beaches Coalition, and is currently serving on the Foundation Board of the University of West Florida. Her leadership extends to the local level as well—having chaired the 2023 Leadership Pensacola Class and previously served as President of the UWF Alumni Association, the Florida Public Relations Association Northwest Chapter, and as a longtime contributor to Fiesta Pensacola and the Foo Foo Festival.

Named Communicator of the Year by the Florida Public Relations Association in 2022 and the 2023 Emerging Leader by the Greater Pensacola Chamber, Stacey continues to be a driving force in showcasing Pensacola as a premier destination.

She holds a master’s in strategic communication and leadership and a B.A. in public relations and marketing from the University of West Florida. When not working, Stacey, aka “Auntie Coco,” is likely exploring a new destination, soaking up beach time, or enjoying her community like a true local.
