Debbie Johnson

Debbie has spent over 30 years working in the travel and tourism industry. She served as Director of the Arizona Office of Tourism for eight years, overseeing the state’s tourism marketing strategy. Prior to that she was President & CEO of the Arizona Lodging & Tourism Association, having led efforts to merge the Arizona Lodging Association with the Arizona Tourism Alliance, creating a stronger and more respected industry association.

She has served on numerous local, state and national boards and committees dedicated to the industry, including the US Department of Commerce’s Travel & Tourism Advisory Board and the U.S. Travel Association Executive Committee and Board of Directors.

In her current role, Debbie leads the Miles Partnership Account Service team of 50 tourism marketing professionals who work with over 100 destination marketing organization clients around the US and abroad.
