Jay Kinghorn

Jay Kinghorn is Co-Founder and Chief Innovation Officer at Zartico, where he leads development of solutions that help tourism leaders market, manage, and grow visitation to their destinations. By understanding visitor behavior through AI, analytics, and research, destinations stay a step ahead of a changing travel landscape, compete globally, and enhance outcomes for residents in their communities.
Before co-founding Zartico, Jay served as Associate Director at the Utah Office of Tourism, leading content, social media, marketing analytics, and digital marketing. During his tenure he pioneered digital research techniques demonstrating how statewide promotion drives impact across urban and rural communities.

A Colorado native, Jay lives in Salt Lake City with his wife and two children. He spends his free time trail running, watching his sons’ soccer games, and skate skiing.
