David Holder

Over the course of his career, he served as the President of Visit Syracuse (the Syracuse CVB) and garnering the region recognition as the "Official Home of Winter.” Additionally, David led tourism for the communities of Fredericksburg, VA and the Corning and Finger Lakes region. David and his Durham, North Carolina based business partner started Clarity of Place in 2020 with the objective of helping destinations find better alignment with the communities they serve. The firm was acquired by Longwoods International in January of 2023 strengthening their ability to provide research based recommendations to build destination strategies.
