Kerry Barrick serves as the Oklahoma State Director for Route 66 and is a board member of the Oklahoma Route 66 Centennial Commission, as well as an advisory member for the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Preserve Route 66 initiative.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from East Central University and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Nazarene University.
With more than 17 years of experience, Kerry has played a key role in promoting Oklahoma’s premier travel destinations, quality Made In Oklahoma products and outstanding community development initiatives. In her current role, she has led an unprecedented statewide campaign focused on historic preservation, community development, and revitalization along Oklahoma’s stretch of the iconic Mother Road.
Kerry works closely with community leaders across the state, emphasizing the importance of connectivity, economic development, and collaboration in preparation for the Route 66 Centennial. Her mission is to empower Oklahoma communities to share their authentic identities and stories with travelers from around the world.
